You can install all apps that is incompatible also and uninstall system apps. Many other benefits such as use to enable hidden features and can use in hack something.

DISADVANTAGES OF ROOTING:

There is not so much disadvantage of rooting.  After rooting, you lost your warranty of your phone that you got from manufacturer. If you could not safely root then  your phone may be brick or damaged. Rooting gives you full access and break the android security so you need to care about security and need to antivirus to protect your phone. After rooting, your phone may hang so you need to task management or good third party apps to boost your phones performance.

Rooting is a process of unlocking all features and whole access to its OS. So if you want to some additional with your device or flashing custom ROMs then you can root but in my opinion don’t root if you have new device because without rooting you can do many things with apps.
